What is the difference between CBD oil and hemp seed oil?

Both CBD oil and hemp seed oil are popular health supplements, but they are different. If you're new to the oils derived from hemp, you may be curious as to what the benefits of each oil are. Below we discuss the benefits and differences of each of these oils.

What is hemp oil?

Hemp oil, also called "hempseed oil", is the oil that is extracted from industrial hemp seeds. This type of oil is commonly consumed as a health supplement because it contains beneficial omega fatty acids, vitamin E, and protein. Nutrients are extracted from these seeds by pressing them and the oil is refined and bottled.

Hemp oil does not contain tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary mind-altering drug found in cannabis. Consuming hempseed oil will not get you "high" as it does not contain THC.

There are some side effects of CBD oil, and drowsiness is one of them. Taking CBD oil will make some people sleepy, though not everyone experiences this side effect.
