What is Stugeron?
Stugeron is a drug used to treat the symptoms of balance or movement problems, such as feeling dizzy or lightheaded, feeling sick or being sick.
How does Stugeron work?
Stugeron contains cinnarizine which belongs to a group of medicines called antiemetics. This substance blocks the nausea and prevents you from feeling sick.
What are the benefits of taking Stugeron?
While travelling can be exciting, people who suffer from motion sickness can struggle with daily life. Whether they are affected on planes, cars, trains, buses or boats, it all falls under the umbrella of motion sickness and it disrupts travelling rather a lot.
Taking Stugeron ensures you can travel without worries of feeling unwell.
How do I use Stugeron?
Always follow the guidance given in the enclosed patient information leaflet and be sure to read it before commencing use of the medicine.
Take Stugeron by sucking, chewing or swallowing the tablets whole with a drink of water, ideally straight after a meal.
Stugeron Dosage
The recommended dose of Stugeron varies based on what you are using it for. For travel sickness, adults should take 2 tablets 2 hours before travelling and then 1 tablet every 8 hours during the journey (as needed). Children should take 1 tablet 2 hours before travelling and then ½ a tablet every 8 hours during the journey (as needed).
If you are taking Stugeron for balance problems then it’s 2 tablets 3 times a day for adults, or 1 tablet 3 times a day for children.
If you take more Stugeron than you should then you should consult a doctor. If you forget to take your Stugeron tablet then make sure that you leave at least 8 hours since the last tablet before taking the missed one. Do not double up on a dose to make up for a forgotten one.
