Sexual Health

With half of us having had sex by the time we hit 17, and over 80% of us having had sex once we reach 24, sexual health is something that affects almost everyone and is something that it’s important we pay attention to. However, nearly half of young people are not using condoms, leading to an increase in the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STI’s).

Sexual health can often be a subject we avoid talking about, due to embarrassment or a lack of information, so we’re on hand with all you need to know about sexual health, as well as test kits and effective treatments for various STI’s.

Chlamydia
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) and is the most common type in the UK. It often carries no symptoms and affects both men and women.
Genital Herpes
Genital herpes is a viral, sexually transmitted infection that does not have a cure, however the symptoms (such as sores) can be managed.
Genital Warts
Genital warts are a sexually transmitted infection (STI) that appears as small fleshy lumps in the genital area.
Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a treatment used to protect high risk individuals from the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
Condoms
There are plenty of methods of contraception against pregnancy, however, the only method that successfully protects against STI’s too is condoms.
Lubricants & Gels
Lubricants are products, usually either oil, water or silicone based, used during sexual acts to reduce friction and increase pleasure.
Family Planning
Whether you’re hoping to get pregnant, simply exploring your options or making sure that a baby is not on the way, we have the products you need.
