Relestat Eye Drops are specialised medicated eye drops that are used to treat allergic reactions in the eyes. Allergic reactions in the eye provoke symptoms such as itching, redness and watering. 

Epinastine Hydrochloride

Relestat Eye Drops are anti-allergic medicated eye drops. These eye drops actively combat the symptoms of allergic reactions in the eyes. These eye drops mainly treat watery eyes which are itchy, red and swollen. The active ingredient is epinastine hydrochloride.

You should always use Relestat Eye Drops as you have been instructed by your healthcare provider. It is recommended to adults and children over the age of 12 years use their eye drops once in the morning and once in the evening.

You should only ever use the dosage you have been told to use. The recommended dosage is 1 drop administered in both eyes, twice a day. Usually, you should use your medication once in the morning and once in the evening. 

Relestat Eye Drops are suitable for adults, the elderly, and children over the age of 12 years old who are suffering from allergy symptoms in the eyes. 

Relestat Eye Drops may not be a suitable treatment option for some people. This medication should not be used by children under the age of 12 years. It should also not be used by anyone who is allergic to any of the ingredients in the medication. 

If you are pregnant or if you are trying to become pregnant whilst using this medication you should speak to your healthcare provider for advice before using it. 

It is not known whether or not Relestat Eye Drops pass into breast milk. If you are going to be breastfeeding whilst using this medication you should speak to your healthcare provider for further advice.

Relestat Eye Drops may interact with other medications. It is important that you let your healthcare provider know about any medications you are using or have used in the past.

As with all other medications, some people may experience side effects when using Relestat Eye Drops. Some of the most common side effects include:

  • Burning sensation in the eye
  • Irritation of the eye
  • Unusual taste in the mouth
