For 12 years and over, the dose is 2.5 mg to 5 mg four times a day. For kids aged 5 years to 12, the dose is 2.5 mg four times a day.


Each ml of solution comes with Salbutamol Sulfate of 5 mg. Contains Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01%, Sulphuric Acid, and Water for injection.


Ventolin nebules come in 1 mg/ml. Every dose comes with 2.5 mg Salbutamol base. Contains Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01%, Sulphuric Acid, and Water for injection.


Every blister pack comes with Salbutamol 200 µg (as sulfate). Comes with Lactose (milk protein) which works as carrier of salbutamol instead of water.

Adverse health effects of Ventolin

Ventolin, like any other drugs have side effects, but not everyone is able to experience them. Common side effects of this drug include muscle tremors, nausea, heart palpitations, mouth dryness, and coughing. Should your condition worsen or your symptoms persist, call your doctor and inform him immediately. Many patients taking this drug do not experience any of its side effects as mentioned above.

For patients with high blood pressure, exercise caution when using Ventolin as it can drastically raise the blood pressure. Ask your doctor before using the drug for your treatment.
